Welcome to The Teaching and Learning Commons at North Carolina A&T State University. I'll be using this blog to discuss topics related to teaching, learning, and the scholarship of teaching and learning as part of the services of the Academy for Teaching and Learning (ATL), NC A&T's center for teaching, learning, and faculty development.

While some of the posts may relate specifically to local A&T issues, most posts will be more general in nature, applicable across a wide variety of disciplines, institutions, and programs. My hope is that we can use this space to share ideas, promote innovation and creativity, and highlight research-driven teaching, learning, and assessment practices. I hope that you will contribute to the conversation by sharing your own comments on blog postings. Only in this way can we learn from each other, which is the ultimate goal of this blog.
